Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) is conducted for admission to class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalas located across the country in 27 states and 7 union territories. This exam directed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti aims at selecting the best students for study at JNV schools in India. At present there are 575 schools of the samiti throughout the country. A maximum of 80 students are admitted in Class VI in each vidyalaya through this selection test. The exam is conducted at the start of the year while JNVST results are declared by the end of May of the year of admission.
